DEVONtechnologies has announced DEVONagent Pro 3.0.1, an update to the company’s smart Internet research assistant for Mac OS X.

DEVONagent Pro is designed to help you search more efficiently on the web. It searches multiple sources. Version 3.0.1 includes support for Mac OS X 10.7 Lion’s full screen mode, other smaller improvements, and bug fixes.

DEVONagent Pro 3.0 is a paid upgrade for all customers who have purchased their license for DEVONagent 1.x or 2.x before Jan. 1, 2009. Everyone eligible for a free upgrade has already received their upgrade license; if not, they can reclaim it from the DEVONtechnologies web site (http://www.devontechnologies.com).

DEVONagent Pro 3.x requires Mac OS X 10.5 or later and can be downloaded as a free trial from DEVONtechnologies online. It can be test-driven for free for 60 hours of non-continuous runtime until it needs to be properly licensed.
